Knott's Berry Farm, Buena Park, California
Knott's Berry Farm has been a roadside attraction in southern California since the 1920s when the Knotts rented a small farm and began selling berries to passing motorists out of a small shack. Nowadays, they're a major tourist destination and a veritable institution. The brochure pictured below was published in 1949, and lists a four-digit Anaheim telephone number on the cover. Inside are such now-famous features as Sad-Eyed Joe and the Little Chapel by the Lake.
Knotts Berry Farm is still in Buena Park, California, southeast of Los Angeles proper.
