New Mexico Horse Sculptures
Previously we featured a series of bison sculptures on exhibit in Abilene, Texas. During a subsequent trip to Albuquerque, we discovered a similar series of artworks depicting horses which are scattered throughout the state of New Mexico. They will all be auctioned at a later date to benefit various arts organizations in the state. The example below was captured in the Old Town section of Albuquerque, but they have infiltrated many other places, including the local airport.
Albuquerque is located in north-central New Mexico, southwest of Santa Fe. The Old Town district is near the western edge of the city, just off Central Avenue (old Route 66).
