Nut Museum
This museum is dedicated to all things nutty. The museum resides in the first-floor spaces of a Victorian home. Exhibits include a vast collection of nut crackers and nut art. There is also on display the reputed "World's Largest Nut," the 30+-pound Coco-de-Mer.
Don't forget to bring your nuts. That's the cost of admission, and it's to be taken seriously. Each visitor is expected to contribute at least one nut to "the cause."
The museum is at 303 Ferry Road, Old Lyme, Connecticut 06391
