Roy Rogers Museum
The Route 66 town of Victorville, California is home to the Roy Rogers Museum. This museum, dedicated to the life of the former Leonard Slye, is well worth the time of anyone who's grown up in the middle twentieth century and considered Roy Rogers & Dale Evans a part of the best of America. Trigger is here, as well as thousands of bits of memorabilia from the lives of Roy and Dale.
UPDATE: As of the spring of 2003, the Roy Rogers Museum has been moved to Branson, Missouri. Victorville is still a worthwhile place to stop, however, it still being home of the California Route 66 Museum. I have not yet visited the Roy Rogers Museum's new home.
