The Round-Up Motel sits alongside old Route 66 in Will Rogers' adopted home town of Claremore, Oklahoma. The neon was originally designed to light in such a way as to simulate the blowing of smoke rings.
This sign, like so many others along America's Main Street, has been removed since this photograph was taken.
